Photography Planning

Location

Location is key, it has to link in with the genre otherwise it wonk look right and it will look out of place.

My magazine is in the grime genre, so the location of the photography will have to be quite rough and dirty, like an ally or an urban city such as London. Places like this connote poverty, danger and uncertaincy. This links in with the rap scene perfecty and will be very appropriate for my magazine cover.

Framing


Framing is very important when taking your photographs. You have to think about what you want to be in the photo and what you don't. The framing can make the model look very biug or very small.

Lighting


Lighting is also very important as it adds a massive effect to the photo, but it depends on what time of day it is beacsue i belive natural lighting alsways looks best. Typically in the morning or at dusk are the best time for natural lightins so i will probably take my photos at these times.

Re-Shoots


I will be taking about 30-50 photos but i will be narrowing this down to about 10, and then i will pick the one i like the most and use that for my magazine cover. The Re-Shoot will be taken if i am not happy with the exsisting photos.
